Christmas Pictures

These pictures kind of explain themselves. Taken at Sears 12/14.

(we didn't know the gal was taking this one.)

Comfey Kitty

This is Frank, snuggled up on our unmade bed... 2 hours later, he's still sleeping there. We've wandered in and out of the room, lights on and off, multiple times, and he's still there. I wonder if we'll have to kick him out when it's time for us to go to bed.

Exciting Dinner

You would think that after a week and a half of being sick and not wanting to eat would make a boy eat more... But that's only if said boy has taken his nap.

I knew he was sleepy when he was putting food in his mouth while his head was tilting towards his shoulder. Anyhow, I handed Glenn his cup as I headed to the kitchen. I came out not 2 minutes later and this is what I saw. Notice the straw still in his hand.

We couldn't bear to wake him up to move him, so I just tilted his chair back. This is about an hour later.

Glenn's now sleeping peacefully on his daddy. 7:22 pm

Christmas Play

For those who don't know, I'm "co-director" of Joyful Noise, the children's choir at my church. Sunday, December 2, was their Christmas Play - Sing A Song of Christmas.

This is Noah. He was a donkey as part of the Barnyard Babies (they didn't sing, of course.) Glenn dressed up as a cow.

Kids practicing in the choir room

More practicing & getting ready.

Savannah was a sheep

The play went very well and everyone seemed to like it. I'm very proud of my "Noisers"!

Thanksgiving

First, we went to Bardstown.

Scott, checking out the sale ads, and Glenn trying to play the old, old, old organ at Gammie & Gampaw's. See that portrait above the organ? My Mom (left) and Aunt Laura when Mom was pregnant with me. The one next to that is of all of the "grands" and "great-grands" (minus Glenn... taken before his time.)
Gammie sweeping, before everyone else arrives.
After lunch, we headed to Shepherdsville to Grandma & Grandpa's new place.
Simon started the climbing under the table, and Glenn is of the "monkey see, monkey do" school of thought...

Glenn & Simon

Granna & Maggie (the dog) in the background - Glenn was all about "walking" Maggie around the house.

Going down... (he didn't hurt himself, thankfully)
Simon & Ted making the "goodbye" rounds.
Grandpa, here.
A hug for Simon from Granna.
Grandma surveying the festivities.

Glenn didn't want to sit still when there was a dog to be walking.
But he didn't mind climbing into a chair by himself after Kylie got control of Maggie's leash.

Another great family day!
